3. Smoked Ingredients
Smoking is a key emerging flavour with a grow at a CAGR of 7.1% from 2018 to 2023 according to Mordor Intelligence*. The report shows that there is a high preference for liquid smoke ingredients among consumers and rapid growth for the smoke ingredients is expected in the Asia-Pacific market. Smoke flavours have been used to infuse a flavoursome smoky profile to a range of key dishes and ingredients extending to sauces and condiments such as smoked honey and smoked salt that are cropping up in delis and gourmet food stores.
4. Mediterranean
The world’s healthier diet is here to stay. The Mediterranean diet makes plant-based food the star of every meal. Nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, are part of the daily diet. The olive oil famous from the region has been proved as an excellent frying oil according to a study from the Massey University.
5. Veggie Noodles
As people are becoming more health-conscious, recent market growth trends reveal and increased consumer demand for healthy, organic, low carb food products. There has never been a better time for entrepreneurs to offer a variety of alternatives white carbs pasta like zucchini, cucumber, carrot, beetroot, etc.
